ECEs providing school age care have roles and responsibilities that are specific to this age group, such as working closely with families and schools to create a continuum of learning and development. The Child Care Human Resources Sector Council had the School Age Profile developed to highlight the specific skills required to work with this age group. This addendum to the original document is intended to accompany and enhance the base Occupational Standards for ECEs, not replace them.
